Don't even try to hide your contempt and scorn under a mask of sympathy.
It is almost as bad as his insane monologues, which I have learnt to ignore.
But I am not heartless enough to blame you, for my very few encounters with him have shown me how exhausting and frustrating to reason with lunatics, or decipher what they have to say.
