Sauli Koskinen, who will be getting his own TV show, relaxed at Levi
- The trip to Lapland fulfilled all my expectations gushed Sauli, who flew from Los Angeles to Finland.
Sauli Koskinen (28) who lives in Los Angeles, arrived in Finland last week. Seiska met Sauli at Levi, to where he headed right away at the beginning of his one-month long stay in Finland. (Note: Levi is one of the popular skiing resorts in Finnish Lapland.)
- For the start of this trip I was at a shooting of a cooking show, and ran from one meeting to another. It was absolutely great to get away from all the rush and also from the buzz in LA and get a chance to relax in the middle of the peaceful nature. A couple of days’ vacation made me feel really good. Now I have again the energy to concentrate fully on working, Sauli says.
Stars for guests to be expected
Sauli has already for a long time been working on a TV show, of which he finally can reveal something.
- I’m getting a lifestyle show of my own, where I’m going to have awesome guests. I can’t reveal everything yet. We will start shooting in LA in the spring and the show will air on Fox in the autumn, Sauli says.
TV work is already familiar to Sauli but finally he is getting the kind of show he’s been dreaming of.
- I’m really looking forward to this project. We’ve been working on this thing for such long a long time. It’s amazing that I can make my dream come true, says Sauli.
Hole in the ice changed into a hot tub
Sauli’s trip to Levi included also a sauna evening at the amazing lakeside sauna called Taivaanvalkeat (“Skylights”) at the Hullu Poro (“Crazy Reindeer”, a resort in Levi).
- There just is nothing better than a traditional Finnish sauna. I was also considering winter swimming, but the hot tub right next to the sauna won. Some rolling in the snow on top of that, and I felt really refreshed, Sauli says.

- Lapland has its' own kind of magic. The sunset-painted sky is a breathtaking view, Sauli admired the scenery.
- Sauli got to give some treats to the white Taiga-reindeer at the Husky Park at Levi. –That funny rascal tried to butt me a bit with his antlers.
- At first I was going to jump into the hole in the ice, but instead of that icy thing I chose the wonderfully warm hot tub at the Hullu Poro’s lakeside sauna Taivaanvalkeat.
- Sauli and pop singer Adam Lambert have been together for over two years already. The couple lives in Los Angeles.
An action-packed husky-safari charmed!
Sauli’s dreams seem to be coming true at a quick pace.
- I’ve always wanted to try driving a husky sled, Sauli stated.
Levi Husky Park’s (www.huskypark.fi) host Reijo Jääskeläinen made Sauli’s wish come true.
